Attorney Michael Ackerstein
Michael Ackerstein is committed to representing Massachusetts employees in workplace matters and is dedicated to demonstrating results for his clients.
Michael’s practice is devoted to representing employees because he is fully aware of the challenges that individuals face in the workplace. As a Massachusetts employment lawyer, Michael understands that an individual employee may have difficulty alerting management to potential issues or receiving a fair shake from their employer. In order to combat these issues, Michael partners with his clients to help make sure that their voices are heard, their concerns are addressed, and any harms they have suffered are remedied.
Michael approaches representation by partnering and collaborating with his clients. Michael believes his clients’ interests are best protected when their attorney is working with them, rather than for them. To that end, Michael commits to maintaining clear communication with his clients and ensuring that he is on the same page with them at all times.
Prior to forming Ackerstein Law, Michael represented large employers while practicing at Jackson Lewis P.C., a national firm that represents employers in workplace law. However, after he recognized the power imbalance facing employees, Michael elected to refocus his practice to primarily representing employees.
Michael is a member of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyer’s Association.
